Bitget Wallet Card — Base

Bitget Wallet Card suits people who pay mostly in US dollars and want 2% to 3% back in crypto or USDC on a card with no monthly fee. Every non-dollar payment costs 1.7%, which eats most of the reward abroad and in any country that doesn't use the dollar.

Bitget Wallet Card is a prepaid crypto card with no monthly fee that you top up from the Bitget Wallet app. According to Bitget Wallet's rules, it pays 2% assetback on the free Base plan and 3% on Booster, which new cardholders get automatically. Dollar payments are free in Europe and Latin America, and other currencies cost 1.7%.

Bitget Wallet runs the card as seven regional programs with different issuers, networks and fees. A customer in France gets a virtual dollar Mastercard, while a customer in Japan gets a Visa that can also come as a physical card.

Bitget Wallet Card cashback

Bitget Wallet Card pays 2% assetback on the Base plan and 3% on the Booster plan, according to Bitget Wallet's help center.

Booster isn't a paid tier: new cardholders start on it, and anyone else gets it after spending $200 in a month in Europe, the UK, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan and Australia, or $100 in Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Latin America, South Africa and Pakistan. Once earned, Booster applies for that month and the next, so steady spenders stay on 3%.

The weak point is the cap: Bitget Wallet says rewards stop at a monthly limit on eligible spending but doesn't publish the amount.

Rewards are paid as tokenized Bitcoin (WBTC), tokenized gold (XAUt) or tokenized US stocks on BNB Chain, or as USDC.

Bitget Wallet Card fees

Bitget Wallet Card has no monthly fee and no fee on US dollar payments in Europe and Latin America, but every payment in another currency costs 1.7%.

The card holds US dollars in every region, so the 1.7% FX fee applies to almost all everyday spending outside dollar countries. A €50 grocery bill in Spain pays it, and so does a payment in pesos in Mexico. On those payments the 2% Base reward shrinks to 0.3% after fees, and Booster to 1.3%.

The Asia-Pacific and Singapore Visa cards add a crypto-to-fiat conversion fee, which Bitget Wallet lists as 0.05% to 0.2%. The physical card there costs $49 including shipping, and Bitget Wallet refunds it after three successful referrals.

In Europe, Latin America and South Africa, activating the card costs $0.10 if you do it within 72 hours of passing identity checks, and $10 after that. Pakistan and Bangladesh cards show their issuance fee only in the app.

Bitget Wallet Card ATM withdrawal fees

Bitget Wallet Card supports ATM withdrawals only on the physical card in South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan, Australia, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines, where each withdrawal costs 1% with a $5 minimum.

The $5 minimum covers any withdrawal up to $500, so a $200 withdrawal costs 2.5% in Bitget Wallet's fee alone. The 1.7% FX fee and the conversion fee apply on top, and the ATM owner may add a charge. The Singapore card and all virtual cards can't be used at ATMs.

Cash withdrawals aren't supported.

Is Bitget Wallet Card safe?

Bitget Wallet Card is custodial: the money you top up leaves your self-custody wallet and sits in a card balance held by the card issuer.

Bitget Wallet itself is a self-custody app, so you hold the keys to everything you don't move to the card. The regional programs have different issuers, and the Asia-Pacific Visa card is issued through DCS Card Center in Singapore.

Keep only what you plan to spend on the card balance, and leave the rest in the wallet under your own keys.

Who should get Bitget Wallet Card

Bitget Wallet Card suits people who pay mostly in US dollars, or who shop online with merchants that charge in dollars, and want rewards in crypto.

For dollar spending in Europe or Latin America there are no fees, so Booster's 3% arrives with nothing taken off. For local-currency spending the 1.7% FX fee takes most of the reward, and a card with euro or local-currency billing will usually cost less.
