CoinW Card is a dollar card you top up with USDT from a CoinW exchange account. Virtual cards cost a one-time 12.5 to 25 USDT, the physical card costs 58 USDT, and there is no monthly fee. The card pays no cashback, so it is a spending tool for USDT holders rather than a rewards card.
CoinW Card is a set of four cards that share one account. Three are virtual (a Visa, a Mastercard and a PRO card aimed at ad platforms and AI tools), and the Premium USD Physical Card adds shop payments and ATM withdrawals. Each card has its own issuance fee, which you pay once along with a first top-up.
CoinW Card cashback
CoinW Card pays no cashback, points or other rewards on purchases, on any of its four cards.
That makes the CoinW Card different from most exchange cards, which pay at least a small percentage back in their own token or in USDT. Here the benefit is convenience, because the card spends the USDT you already hold on CoinW without a trip through a bank account.
If cashback matters to you, the comparison further down the page shows cards in your country that pay it on the free plan.
CoinW Card fees
CoinW Card has no monthly or annual fee, and the main cost you see up front is the one-time issuance fee, from 12.5 USDT for the Visa virtual card to 58 USDT for the physical card.
The USD Virtual Card VISA is the cheapest at 12.5 USDT, the USD Virtual Card Mastercard costs 15 USDT, and the USD Virtual Card PRO costs 25 USDT. CoinW labels the PRO card for ChatGPT and Google Ads and marks it as Simple KYC, so it asks for no identity details beyond your CoinW account verification.
The fees you pay while using the card are harder to judge in advance. CoinW shows each card's fees and top-up requirements on its page inside the app, but it doesn't publish a top-up or foreign transaction fee on its website or help centre. Check both before your first top-up, because on a prepaid card the top-up fee works like a fee on every dollar you spend.
Applying takes a few minutes in the CoinW app or on the web. You pay the issuance fee and the first top-up together from your Asset Account, the virtual card is usually ready within an hour, and the physical card is processed within 12 to 24 hours before it ships.
CoinW Card ATM withdrawal fees
CoinW Card supports ATM withdrawals only on the Premium USD Physical Card, and CoinW doesn't list a withdrawal fee for it on its website.
The three virtual cards can't take out cash at all. If you need cash, the 58 USDT physical card is the only option, and you should check its withdrawal fee in the app before relying on it abroad, since the ATM owner can also add a charge of its own.
Is CoinW Card safe?
CoinW Card is custodial: the USDT you top up with sits in your CoinW Asset Account, and CoinW holds the keys.
CoinW is a centralised crypto exchange whose user agreement is governed by Hong Kong law. CoinW says it is committed to 100% reserves for user assets and publishes a proof of reserves page, but an exchange balance is only as safe as the exchange, so the sensible approach is to move over only what you plan to spend in the coming weeks.
On the card side, the Premium USD Physical Card supports 3D Secure for online payments, and CoinW says it doesn't share your personal data with the card issuers.
Who should get CoinW Card
CoinW Card suits people who already trade on CoinW and want a dollar card for subscriptions, AI tools, ad accounts and online shopping, funded straight from USDT.
The low issuance fee on the Visa virtual card and the lack of a monthly fee keep the cost of trying the CoinW Card small. Having both Visa and Mastercard versions also helps when one network is declined by a merchant.
For everyday spending, the CoinW Card is a weaker pick, because it earns nothing back and its running fees are visible only after you sign up. Anyone who isn't already a CoinW user will usually find a better deal among the cards below.
Where CoinW Card is available
CoinW Card is open to verified CoinW users in most countries, apart from the jurisdictions on CoinW's restricted list.
That list includes the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, mainland China, Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, the UAE, Qatar and several countries under international sanctions, such as Iran, Cuba, North Korea and Syria.
