KuCard is the crypto debit card from the KuCoin exchange. In Europe it is a euro Visa card with free euro payments and a 2% fee on other currencies. In Australia it is a virtual Mastercard settled in USDC, with a 0.5% transaction fee and points that KuCoin advertises at up to 8%.
KuCoin runs the two cards as separate programs with different networks, fees and rewards. A customer in Germany gets a euro Visa card from KuCoin EU. A customer in Australia gets a USDC Mastercard from KuCoin's Australian business. Pick your country at the top of the page and every table below shows the terms for that program.
KuCard cashback
KuCard pays rewards points on the Australian card, advertised at up to 8%, while KuCoin EU promises rewards on the European KuCard but publishes no rate.
The Australian program replaced cash rewards with points on July 16, 2026. There are seven levels, L0 to L6, and your level is the higher of your KuCoin VIP level and your monthly spending tier. Spending $500 a month reaches L1, $3,000 reaches L3, and $30,000 reaches L6, while VIP 1, 5, 8 and 11 unlock L3 to L6 directly. A new level starts the day after you reach it and lasts until the end of the next calendar month.
Points are worth 1 USDC per 1,000, appear after a 15-day check and expire 90 days later. ATM withdrawals, gambling, PayPal top-ups and transactions made with AUD earn nothing. New users get an extra 1% on their first eligible payment.
KuCard fees
KuCard has no annual fee in either region, but the European card charges 2% on non-euro payments and the Australian card charges 0.5% on every transaction plus 1% on foreign currencies.
In Europe, KuCoin's fee page lists euro payments as free. KuCoin doesn't list a separate fee for converting your crypto at checkout. The first virtual card is free, another costs €9.90, and the first physical card costs €9.90 (€19.90 after that), with express delivery at €30.
In Australia, every payment settles in USDC. A $100 purchase in a foreign currency costs $1.50 in fees: $0.50 for the transaction and $1 for FX. The first virtual card is free and extra ones cost 9.99 USDC each, up to five cards. There is also a 2 USDC monthly inactivity fee per card and a 30 USDC fee for each dispute.
Spending limits are €20,000 a day and €25,000 a month in Europe, and 20,000 USDC a day in Australia.
KuCard ATM withdrawal fees
KuCard charges €2 per ATM withdrawal within Europe and 2% plus €2 outside Europe; the Australian KuCard doesn't support cash withdrawals.
The flat €2 fee favours larger withdrawals. Taking out €200 in Europe costs 1%, while the same €200 outside Europe costs €6, or 3%, before any charge from the ATM owner. The European card allows €350 a day and €3,000 a month in cash.
The Australian card is virtual only, and KuCoin says physical cards will come later.
Is KuCard safe?
KuCard is custodial: you spend from crypto held in your KuCoin account, and KuCoin controls the keys.
In Australia the card draws on your Funding, Trading or Financial account on KuCoin and converts crypto to money at the moment you pay. KuCoin's Australian help centre points to the custodial terms of use of Immersve for the card. The European card runs through KuCoin EU, KuCoin's separate platform for the EEA. The main KuCoin exchange is operated by Peken Global Limited.
The rewards are less secure than the balance. KuCoin's terms let it change, suspend or end any redemption option or rate without notice, and unredeemed points expire after 90 days. Redeem points regularly, and keep only what you plan to spend on any exchange account.
Who should get KuCard
KuCard suits KuCoin users in Europe who spend mostly in euros and want cheap cash, since euro payments are free and a €200 withdrawal costs €2.
The European card is a poor choice for travel outside the euro area, where every payment carries 2%.
In Australia, KuCard makes sense for people who already spend heavily or hold KuCoin VIP status. L3 needs $3,000 a month of spending or VIP 1, and the 90-day expiry means points need regular attention. The comparison below shows the strongest alternatives in your country.
Where KuCard is available
KuCard is available in the European Economic Area through KuCoin EU and in Australia, but not in the United States or the United Kingdom.
KuCoin doesn't publish a country list for the European card, so check eligibility in the KuCoin EU app before you apply.
