Tevau Card is a prepaid Visa card that you fund with USDT from a Tevau wallet. There's no monthly fee, but the physical card costs $100 and the virtual card $20. Tevau Card pays no cashback, and each payment costs 1.5% plus $0.20, with 1.2% more on non-dollar purchases.
Tevau runs the card as two programs: most countries get the physical and virtual card with ATM access, while Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia get the virtual card only.
Tevau Card cashback
Tevau Card pays no cashback on its single Visa Platinum plan; the only rewards are referral rebates on fees paid by people you invite.
A card with even 1% cashback returns $10 on $1,000 of spending, while Tevau Card returns nothing and charges fees on the same $1,000. The Tevau app also has a stablecoin yield product and US stock trading, but neither is tied to card spending.
Tevau Card fees
Tevau Card has no monthly fee, but every payment costs 1.5% plus $0.20, and non-dollar payments add a 1.2% FX fee.
The 1.5% has two parts: moving USDT from your Tevau wallet to the card balance costs 1%, and each card payment then pays a "USD transaction fee" of 0.5% plus $0.20. On a $100 purchase in dollars that's $1.70, and on a $100 purchase in euros or pounds it's $2.90.
The flat $0.20 hurts small payments most, adding 2% on top of the 1.5% on a $10 purchase. Payments of $3 or less cost $0.20 each after five free a month.
The physical card costs $100 once and the virtual card $20. Other charges: declined payments cost $0.50 after three free a month, and closing a card costs $2. A virtual card with no payments for 90 days costs $3, then $1 every 30 days, and virtual cards close after four months without use.
Tevau Card ATM withdrawal fees
Tevau Card charges 1.9% per ATM withdrawal, plus a 1.2% FX fee when the cash isn't in US dollars, and only the physical card works at ATMs.
A $200 withdrawal in local currency costs $3.80 in ATM fees and $2.40 in FX, so $6.20, or $3.80 if the cash is in US dollars, before the 1% top-up fee and anything the ATM owner charges. The ATM can't show your balance, so check it in the Tevau app first.
The virtual-only program for Croatia, Slovenia and the western Balkans has no ATM access.
Is Tevau Card safe?
Tevau Card is custodial: your USDT sits in a Tevau wallet held by Tevau or a custodian it appoints, not in a wallet you control.
According to its terms, last updated on April 20, 2026, Tevau is run by Tevau Technology Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong. The terms say users' assets are swept into a pooled, ring-fenced omnibus vault account, and that the wallet isn't a deposit account covered by Hong Kong's Deposit Protection Scheme. Tevau also has a US FinCEN-registered money services business.
The terms refer to the card "Issuer or its Partner" without naming the bank that issues the Visa card. With a pooled custodial balance and an unnamed issuer, keep only what you plan to spend on the card.
Who should get Tevau Card
Tevau Card suits people who already hold USDT, want a prepaid Visa with Apple Pay or Google Pay, and spend little enough on it that the fees stay small.
The numbers make it an expensive daily card. $1,000 a month in 20 payments of $50 costs $15 in percentage fees and $4 in flat fees, so $19 a month, or $228 a year, before FX. Add the $100 physical card and the first year costs over $300.
If you have a choice of cards in your country, one with lower fees or some cashback will cost less on the same spending. The comparison below shows the alternatives.
Where Tevau Card is available
