UPay Card is a Visa crypto card from the UPay Wallet app that you fund with USDT, USDC, BTC or ETH. The virtual Premier card costs a one-off 10 USDT and the physical card 100 USDT, every payment carries a 1% fee with no extra cross-border charge, and the card pays no regular cashback.
UPay lists several card tiers inside its app, from Stellar with lower daily limits to Platinum and Precious with higher ones. The fees on this page are the ones UPay publishes for its Premier card, which is issued in Singapore and charged in US dollars.
UPay Card cashback
UPay Card pays no standing cashback on everyday spending, so the base reward rate on the Premier card is zero.
UPay runs short promotional campaigns in place of cashback, and in October 2026, for example, people who pay for AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude with the card get part of that payment back in USDT, capped at 10 USDT a month and only once their monthly card spending reaches 300 USDT. These campaigns run for a month or so at a time, so they are worth a look if they match what you already buy, but they don't add up to a reward rate you can count on.
UPay also has a VIP program with nine levels, based on your trading or deposit activity over the last 30 days. VIP members get better exchange rates on card payments and lower fees, but UPay doesn't publish the numbers for each level.
UPay Card fees
UPay Card charges a 1% transaction fee on every payment, a one-off card fee, and nothing for paying in another currency or country.
The virtual Premier card costs 10 USDT and works as soon as you pay, while the physical Premier card costs 100 USDT and takes two to three weeks to arrive. Neither card has an annual fee or a fee to close it.
The 1% transaction fee means a $100 purchase costs $101, and the price is the same in a shop at home or online from a merchant abroad. UPay sets a 0% cross-border fee on the Premier card, so the card costs the same everywhere, which makes it cheaper for travel than many local bank cards that add 2% to 3% abroad.
Limits are generous: $100,000 per payment and $200,000 a day on both versions of the card.
UPay Card ATM withdrawal fees
UPay Card charges 2% on ATM withdrawals with the physical Premier card, and UPay applies the same rate in every region.
A $200 withdrawal costs $4 in UPay's fee, before any charge the ATM owner adds. Withdrawals are capped at $2,000 a day, and UPay's fee tables list ATM use only for the physical card, so the virtual card is for online payments and phone wallets.
Is UPay Card safe?
UPay Card is custodial: your crypto sits in your UPay Wallet account, held by UPay, until you top up the card and spend it.
The company behind the app is UPAY Technology Ltd, registered in Denver, Colorado, and in August 2026 UPay began moving part of its business to a new Singapore company, UP(SG) Global Pte Ltd, which is the party to the card program agreement. UPay lists a money service operator licence in Hong Kong, money services business registrations in the US and Canada, and in-principle approval as a crypto service provider in Lithuania.
Identity checks run through Sumsub and usually take 5 to 10 minutes. UPay doesn't publish reserve or insurance details for wallet balances, so keep only what you plan to spend on the card.
Who should get UPay Card
UPay Card suits people in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and parts of Europe who earn or hold USDT and need a Visa card that works for international subscriptions and travel.
The 0% cross-border fee and the 10 USDT virtual card make it cheap to start, and the high limits leave room for large purchases. The flat 1% fee on every payment is the cost, which adds up to $20 a month on $2,000 of spending, with nothing earned back.
If you spend a lot at home in your own currency, a card with no transaction fee or a cashback rate will cost less over a year. The comparison below shows the alternatives in your country.
Where UPay Card is available
UPay Card is available to residents of most countries, but UPay's restricted list rules out the United States, Canada, Brazil, Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, India, mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, New Zealand and Saudi Arabia.
The list also excludes Cyprus, Serbia, Moldova, Albania, Egypt, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia and several African countries, and UPay checks it against Visa's list every month. Your nationality and IP address count too, so a passport from a restricted country can block an application even if you live elsewhere.
